FortyGuard Joins the UAE Delegation at SelectUSA Investment Summit 2024
Maryland, USA – June 2024: FortyGuard is excited to announce its participation in the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2024, held at the Gaylord National Resort in Maryland, USA from June 23-26. As part of the UAE delegation which was led by Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani Al Zeyoudi, FortyGuard joined other prominent businesses and investors to explore opportunities and foster international collaborations.
The SelectUSA Investment Summit 2024, hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, is a premier event aimed at promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) in the United States. The summit featured a comprehensive agenda, including keynote addresses by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and other Cabinet members, panel discussions with major CEOs and governors, and numerous networking opportunities.
FortyGuard had the privilege to engage with industry leaders, government officials, and key stakeholders across various sectors. The summit provided a platform for discussing the transformative potential of advanced technologies and the importance of sustainable urban development. Our participation was supported by the US Embassy in the UAE and Ambassador Martina Strong, emphasizing the strong bilateral relationship between the two nations.
Representing the UAE, FortyGuard highlighted its commitment to climate-tech innovation and sustainable urban solutions. The summit allowed us to showcase our AI-driven Temperature Operating System (tOS) and discuss its potential in combating urban heat and enhancing climate resilience.
The summit underscored the importance of cross-sector collaboration in driving meaningful and sustainable change. Discussions emphasized the critical role of regulatory frameworks, investment in research and development, and the integration of AI technologies to reduce carbon emissions and optimize energy usage.
