Earlier this week, the FortyGuard team had the privilege of welcoming Masdar to our Hub71 office for an engaging discussion on the future of temperature intelligence and its role in shaping more sustainable, climate-resilient cities. This visit was more than just a meeting—it was a continuation of a long-standing engagement between FortyGuard and Masdar, built on a shared vision of leveraging innovation to address global climate challenges.
Our journey with Masdar City began several years ago when we had the opportunity to work on a pioneering project for Eco Plaza, Masdar City’s central hub for sustainability and innovation. This collaboration allowed FortyGuard to deploy its temperature intelligence solutions, providing high-resolution temperature data to better understand and mitigate urban heat in one of the world’s most forward-thinking sustainable developments. Since then, FortyGuard and Masdar have remained aligned in the pursuit of climate-tech solutions that can transform urban environments. Masdar’s leadership in renewable energy, smart cities, and sustainable urban development continues to serve as an inspiration and a model for cities around the world looking to balance growth with environmental responsibility.
During their visit, Amna Al Zaabi, Sebastien Miller, and Jelena Vranic from Masdar explored how FortyGuard’s latest innovations—particularly our Temperature Dashboard™ and Temperature API™—are helping governments, businesses, and urban planners make smarter decisions to combat urban heat. Our discussions focused on how our data-driven approach to temperature intelligence can further support Masdar City’s sustainability initiatives, optimize energy efficiency, and enhance climate resilience in urban spaces.
