FortyGuard recently participated in the AI and Climate Symposium at UC Berkeley, hosted by Bakar Climate Labs and the Bakar Institute of Digital Materials for the Planet. The event brought together researchers, technologists, and entrepreneurs to explore how AI is accelerating climate innovation—particularly in materials science, environmental monitoring, and commercial deployment.
Our Founder and CEO, Jay Sadiq, spoke during a featured panel titled “Successful Application of AI to Advance Climate Tech,” where he introduced how FortyGuard’s Temperature Dashboard® is redefining urban resilience. With real-time, 2-meter-accurate temperature mapping and predictive analytics, we’re helping governments, institutions, and companies manage heat like never before.
The symposium created valuable connections across the startup and academic ecosystems. It also affirmed a growing recognition: as the climate crisis intensifies, temperature intelligence will be foundational for both adaptation and long-term planning.
We’re proud to have contributed to this dialogue—and excited to keep building technology that transforms how we measure, map, and mitigate urban heat.
Thank you again to the organizing teams and all those who joined the conversation. Let's continue turning insights into impact.
