UC Berkeley’s AI and Climate Symposium

FortyGuard at UC Berkeley’s AI and Climate Symposium: Shaping the Future of Heat Intelligence

This month, FortyGuard is honored to take part in the AI and Climate Symposium: From Cutting-Edge Research to Commercialization, hosted by Bakar Climate Labs and the Bakar Institute of Digital Materials for the Planet at the University of California, Berkeley.

Held on April 23–24, the symposium brings together leading researchers, climate-tech founders, and industry experts to discuss how AI is driving innovation in sustainable technologies—from energy distribution to materials science.

Jay Sadiq, Founder and CEO of FortyGuard, will speak on a panel titled “Successful Application of AI to Advance Climate Tech” on April 24th from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. He will share how FortyGuard is transforming AI-powered urban cooling into scalable infrastructure—mapping temperature with unmatched precision and generating actionable intelligence to combat rising heat.

The event is designed to accelerate translational research, connect academia with startups, and spotlight innovations ready for real-world application. We’re excited to engage with fellow entrepreneurs, scientists, and thought leaders at the forefront of climate and AI.

FortyGuard’s participation reflects our ongoing commitment to addressing the urgent challenge of urban heat with breakthrough technology—turning temperature into the next intelligence layer for industry and society.

If you’re attending, we’d love to connect!
