FortyGuard’s Hot Summer of Innovation: Global Growth, Global Recognition, and Game-Changing Climate Intelligence

As the summer sun blazed across cities worldwide, FortyGuard has been turning up the heat in a different way — driving innovation in urban temperature intelligence, expanding our global footprint, and launching powerful new tools to help cities, industries, and communities build resilience against rising temperatures.

Since June 1st, our journey has been nothing short of transformative. Here’s what’s been keeping us busy this summer.

Google for Startups Accelerator: A Major Boost to Our Mission

We’re thrilled to share that FortyGuard was selected for the Google for Startups Accelerator — a milestone that’s turbocharged our technical capabilities and global reach.

Through this program, we gained access to cloud credits, AI mentorship, and infrastructure support from Google experts. The results have been remarkable:

  • 5x increase in model efficiency and scalability

  • Faster deployment of urban temperature analytics

  • Strengthened ability to serve diverse, large-scale environments

With this boost, FortyGuard has expanded into five countries, including full coverage across the United States, bringing our urban heat and city temperature resilience solutions to new regions and sectors.

Recognized as the Pioneer of Large Temperature Models (LTMs)

At the recent Google AI Connect Economic Impact Conference, we were deeply honored when Anthony Nakache, CEO of Google MENA, publicly recognized FortyGuard as the pioneer of Large Temperature Models (LTMs) — positioning us at the forefront of AI-driven climate intelligence.

Our Large Temperature Models are redefining how cities, industries, and governments understand, predict, and respond to urban heat and environmental temperature shifts. This recognition reinforces our leadership in a space that will be critical to the future of climate resilience.

Showcasing Innovation at Viva Technology 2025

This June, FortyGuard joined the Ministry of Economy & Tourism’s delegation at Viva Technology, led by H.E. Minister Abdulla Bin Touq, to showcase our solutions alongside some of the UAE’s most ambitious startups.

Supported by Hub71 and backed by a powerful presence from UAE leadership, #VivaTech was more than just a conference — it was a signal. A signal that the future is being built now. A signal that AI-powered climate intelligence will be a cornerstone of sustainable urban development worldwide.

AWS and IRCAI Climate Tech Fellowship

We’re proud to have been selected for the AWS and IRCAI Climate Tech Fellowship, a prestigious program recognizing companies using advanced technology to address climate change at scale.

This fellowship provides us with access to cloud resources, global research networks, and strategic mentorship from both Amazon Web Services and the International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) under the auspices of UNESCO.

It’s more than recognition — it’s an opportunity to accelerate our work in building urban heat resilience solutions that can be deployed across cities worldwide.

Türkiye Market Entry via ITU SEED Accelerator

FortyGuard has been selected for the ITU SEED Acceleration Program—Türkiye’s leading innovation platform hosted by Istanbul Technical University. From over 500 applications, only 34 startups were chosen for this fast-track initiative focused on smart cities, sustainability, and scale.

The program provides access to top municipalities, real-world pilots, and direct engagement with urban decision-makers—positioning FortyGuard to grow in Türkiye and expand urban heat intelligence tools across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. As part of the cohort, we’ll also be eligible for over €50 million in awards, cash, and investment opportunities.

New Product Features: More Insight, More Impact

Our FortyGuard Temperature Dashboard just got a major summer upgrade:

  1. Temperature Property View – Hyper-localized insights at the property level, enabling real estate developers, urban planners, and facility managers to mitigate urban heat island effects with precision.

  2. Heat Map Comparisons – Compare temperature patterns over time to track cooling interventions, identify heat hotspots, and evaluate resilience strategies.

  3. Time Series Analysis – Access historical and real-time urban temperature trends to anticipate risk, plan interventions, and optimize for both comfort and sustainability.

These enhancements give our clients sharper decision-making tools for building heat-resilient cities.

Welcoming Ahmed Mahmoud, VP of Business Development

To support our rapid growth, we’re proud to welcome Ahmed Mahmoud as our new Vice President of Business Development. Ahmed brings deep experience in scaling climate-tech solutions globally and will focus on forging strategic partnerships, opening new markets, and accelerating adoption of our urban heat intelligence solutions.

With Ahmed on board, we’re even better positioned to expand FortyGuard’s impact in cities and industries worldwide.

Expanding Strategic Use Cases

While city resilience remains our core mission, our Temperature APIs are unlocking new opportunities across diverse industries:

  • Agriculture – Hyper-local temperature forecasts to optimize irrigation, protect crops from heat stress, and improve yield predictions.

  • Logistics (Rail) – Monitoring temperature-sensitive rail infrastructure to enhance safety, reduce delays, and maintain efficiency in extreme heat.

  • Energy Trading – Leveraging temperature intelligence to forecast demand spikes, optimize grid operations, and support renewable integration.

From sustainable agriculture to energy resilience, temperature intelligence is becoming a strategic asset.

Looking Ahead

This summer has been a defining chapter in FortyGuard’s story — marked by global recognition, product breakthroughs, and strategic expansion. As urban heat challenges intensify worldwide, our mission is clearer than ever: to give cities, industries, and communities the tools to understand, predict, and act against rising temperatures.

Whether it’s through urban temperature maps, city resilience analytics, or industry-specific temperature APIs, we’re committed to turning data into decisions — and heat into opportunity.
