FortyGuard is the temperature intelligence layer for the physical world. It models local thermal conditions and delivers them through Dashboard, API, MCP and Enterprise so people, software and AI agents can make better decisions about physical assets.
What does the Temperature API provide?
The API provides programmatic access to supported heatmaps, forecasts, environmental context, statistics and thermal analytics. Available geography, time windows and functions depend on the endpoint and plan.
How is this different from a weather API?
A weather API describes atmospheric conditions around a place. FortyGuard adds local physical context and thermal modeling at the level of a defined area, asset or route, then returns outputs designed for physical decisions.
What are Large Temperature Models?
Large Temperature Models are FortyGuard's family of temperature-specific models. They combine physical observations and contextual features to estimate, downscale and forecast temperature across relevant locations and time horizons.
Who builds with the API?
Developers, data teams, geospatial platforms and enterprises use the API for design, site screening, routing, portfolio analysis, risk, operational planning and other temperature-sensitive workflows.
Can I use the API commercially?
Commercial use is supported under the rights and limits of the selected plan or agreement. Confirm redistribution, derivative-data and customer-facing rights before launch.
What does 2 meters mean?
Two meters refers to the modeled air-temperature height above ground. It is not the horizontal spacing of the output grid.
What spatial resolution is available?
FortyGuard supports local outputs down to 20-meter spatial resolution in applicable products and workflows. Endpoint, geography and plan determine the available grid and coverage. Geometry-specific verification may use a different analytical mesh.
Where does 10 m² apply?
Ten square meters is an approved resolution for specific delivered analyses or API functions where explicitly stated. It is separate from the 20-meter platform model resolution; the applicable endpoint, product description or project scope identifies which resolution applies.
How far ahead can FortyGuard forecast?
Supported products span short-range operational forecasts and longer planning horizons. The live API's default forecast availability and request limits are documented by endpoint; other supported products can provide forecast coverage up to two weeks.
What is a polygon?
A polygon is the geographic boundary of the area you want FortyGuard to analyze.
What is a color ramp?
A color ramp maps values to colors so differences across a heatmap can be read consistently. Dashboard users can select a ramp appropriate to the analysis.
What are quantiles?
Quantiles divide a set of values into comparable groups. They help show how locations rank within the selected geography and time period.
What are API credits?
Credits meter API consumption. The number used by a request depends on the endpoint, area, time range, parameters and processing required. Documentation and the customer account show applicable consumption.
What happens when I need more credits?
You can purchase an available bulk package, move to a larger plan or speak with FortyGuard about an Enterprise agreement.
Can I change plans?
Upgrades are available through the customer account where supported. Downgrades and effective dates follow the current subscription terms shown at checkout.
What happens if I cancel?
Access continues through the paid subscription period unless the applicable terms state otherwise. Review the current subscription terms for credit, data-retention and renewal treatment.
How am I billed?
Self-service plans are billed monthly or annually according to the option selected at checkout. Enterprise billing follows the executed order.
What payment methods are accepted?
Self-service payments are processed through Stripe using the methods available at checkout. Enterprise payment methods are defined in the order.
Are discounts available?
Annual, higher-volume, Startup Program and Enterprise arrangements may qualify for different economics. Contact FortyGuard for the option appropriate to the use case.
How is customer data handled?
FortyGuard applies access controls and handles customer data under the applicable product terms and Privacy Policy. Enterprise agreements can define additional security, residency, retention and integration requirements.
Temperature MCP is the live product that exposes supported FortyGuard tools through the Model Context Protocol to compatible AI agents under workspace permissions, quotas and commercial rights.
Is the Dashboard installed locally?
No. Temperature Dashboard is a browser application. A current desktop browser provides the full experience.
